Dr. Ejaz Ahmed brings over 20 years of experience across multiple disciplines of medicine. A 1995 graduate of the prestigious King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan — one of the top medical institutions in Southeast Asia — Dr. Ahmed’s foundation in medicine is both broad and deeply specialized.
He completed residency training in Neurology and General Surgery, gained experience in Dermatology and Pediatrics, and passed his FCPS Part One exam while working in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He also established and ran his own general practice clinic in Pakistan before relocating to the United States in 2000.
In the U.S., Dr. Ahmed joined an urgent care practice, was matched to the Mercy Health Partners Family Practice Residency Program in Toledo, Ohio, and has since served in outpatient settings, as a Medical Director for a federal government clinic in DeLand, FL, in multiple urgent care centers, and as a hospitalist — bringing a uniquely wide-ranging clinical perspective to every patient encounter.
